Red Sea Development Company says that the longest sea bridge 'Shoori' has been inaugurated in the kingdom. The bridge is 3.3 km long.

According to Urgent News, due to the bridge, the western coast of the Red Sea is connected to Shuri Island. Out of the 16 hotels to be constructed here under the first phase, 11 hotels are planned to be established next year.

Red Sea Development Company further states that more than 85 beach and floating bungalows have been completed in 'Amhat Islands'. 2 major resorts will be established in the islands. Shuri Island is one of the 92 islands in the Red Sea. It is known for its unique scenery. Its texture resembles a dolphin from above and the beauty of its coral reefs is unparalleled.

The Red Sea St. Regis Resort, designed by Desire Kengo Koma, will also be located in Amhat Islands, along with the Ritz-Carlton Reserve Resort, designed by Foster & Partners.

Speaking to Al-Arabiya Channel, an engineer working on the project said that the final concrete has been placed on the bridge connecting Shore Island to the coast.

In the preparation of the bridge, international standards of occupational health and safety have been taken into consideration.
